It’s National Author’s Day!

It’s National Author’s Day and that seemed just the right time to remind you that I wrote a Christmas book — The History of Christmas!

I combined my love of history and Christmas, looking at what really happened at the first Christmas and how the celebration of Christmas developed over the centuries. Of course I had to include as much nature and food as I could! My favorite chapter is “Christmas Cancelled” — did you know Christmas was outlawed in England at one point?
